hello, hana!
after spending the first few days of our vacation in wailea ("why-uh-lay-uh") the wife & i set off down the road to hana ("hahn-uh") for a few days of relaxation on maui's east coast, away from the resorts and busy-ness of the first few days. the place we're staying, hana hale malamalama (the middle word is "holl-ee." you figure the rest out!), is a little group of cottages in hana bay. we're staying in the pond side bungalow which overlooks the japanase fish pond at the center of the property and gives us a view of the black sand beach in the distance. it also gives us free wi-fi access, so i thought i'd post a few pics of what we've been up to.
enjoy! we definitely are!!

i'm having a problem with the images not resizing, so i'm going to post the link for the album on photobucket instead:

i also can't remember how to make the link (maui does the nuttiest things to your brain...), so you'll have to cut and paste.

I really hope that some day Cookinboy and I are as good about grabbing life by the horns like you and the wife. You guys are always doing awesome fun things.
