cold toes

i realized today as i sat in predators' training camp how much i missed cold toes. i always leave hockey games with cold toes and, when i left camp today, i had cold toes. what a good feeling to have.
here are some pics from the 20 minutes i caught of the afternoon skate. everyone looked pretty good, but i didn't enough of a look to notice any shining stars or glaring holes. mostly they worked on one end of the ice doing 1on1, 2on2, and 3on3 drills.

most of the pictures are of guys standing around due to my
camera phone's inability to take pictures very quickly. all my
pictures of guys skating turned into pictures of open ice...
this is the only full-ice skating drill i saw. it was a pickoff/recover drill that simulated a player picking off a pass at center ice and a defenseman or forward trying to recover without hooking. trotzy spent a few minutes talking about positioning and how the guys couldn't use their sticks like they used to.
