everyone in here's on the guest list

at some point or another during my illustrious musical career i've been asked by almost everyone i know (and alot of people that i don't) if i can put them on the guest list for a show. i think this means that all my friends and acquaintances are either cheap or broke (and yes, i know who is who), since i'm not exactly scaring the fire marshall with my attendance numbers.

so, i'm putting everyone that reads this, along with everyone who doesn't, on the guest list for my show october 4th at the family wash in east nashville. i'll play at 9.30 next tuesday. it's a free show, and it's not a late one, so i expect to have people lined out the door to see me and my band the ibook (it's pronounced eeh-booke. it's french.) play some rock and roll tunes. i might even bust out the keyboard for a song.

so, to sum up: tues oct 4, the family wash, 9.30. you're invited (yes, you) and you're on the guest list (because you're special).

are you ready to mid-tempo?!?!?!?!
(elsewhere...)
saturday nite (oct 1) my friends dawson wells & the entourage, molly thomas, and the bees will be playing at hair of the dog in a saints marching in benefit show. here are a handful of reasons you should go:
-it only costs $10 to get in,
-all the bands and artists kick ass in one way or another,
-it's saturday nite,
-you're already getting in free to my show next week,
-the money being raised will be donated to hurricane relief efforts,
-nashville needs to prove that it has music fans who will get off their asses and who aren't afraid of mixing entertainment and charity.
i'll be out of town or i'd be playing this show. even if i wasn't playing i'd be going. be there.

You know I'd be there in a heartbeat if I wasn't going to be 2000 miles away.
