updates and shtuff

-so the show that i was trying to line up with matthew hebert on october 3rd isn't gonna happen. well, it's gonna happen, just not with me due to some logistical and timing issues. i still plan on being there, and you should too. from what i can tell, matthew's a cool dude that makes some cool music. he also has a blog, which you might be interested in.

-hurricane rita has been downgraded to a category 3. that still sucks, and there's still the threat of tornadoes and whatnot, but i'm not nearly as concerned now as i was earlier today.

-i had my final lunch with jill before she is no longer a nashvillian. good times were had by both as we devised our mutually seperate plans for global (or at least industry) domination. keep her in your thoughts as she makes the stressful 2000 mile trek across God's westward expanse towards the land of the cool.

-speaking of cool, the predators' first home preseason game is tonite. me and the wife will be there, her in her freshly autographed by scotty walker and tomas vokoun predators' cap and me in my homemade "we want tacos" tshirt. can you say, "hell yes," ladies and gentlemen?

-i officially "checked out" at work today around noon. oh, i'm here. just not here...
